woode™ Sustainable Display System

The inspiration behind the woode™

It came from a desire to offer the display industry a more sustainable alternative to the conventional rollup banner.

After observing in a number of locations rollup banners looking drab and damaged we decided there had to be a better option to display a print.

We brainstormed a few ideas and knew we wanted a strong emphasis on sustainability.

By chance we found a young designer in Nelson http://www.mikehindmarsh.co.nz and contacted Mike who agreed to help design a new range of display furniture. Mike came up with the idea of clean lines and interlocking parts.

Together we refined the design and produced a prototype. It was an instant hit. After registering the design we knew we had a winner.

Now we had a display unit that is made from NZ wood and a print printed on recycled cardboard. Having just purchased a new UV printer with the ability to print white ink we were in a very good position to present some stunning artwork to compliment the fine design of the stand.

Wood, card and a state of the art printer gave us the amazing woode™ Display Unit.
